Our Mission is to build stronger families in Arizona

There is nothing more important to us as families. The Amazing Grace Arizona Families mission is to reach out to those who could use a hand, assess their own basic needs, and assist families in learning ways to become self-sufficient.

We help families by offering needed resources, training, and various other services for the whole family through the Family Connections Program and Nurturing Parenting Program, helping families learn how to thrive outside of a ADCS system. We offer services in English and Spanish and other languages in the counties of Maricopa, Pinal, and Pima. We offer services in the counties of Maricopa, Pinal and Pima.

The Family Connections Program and Nurturing Parenting Program is an Arizona Department of Child Safety (ADCS) contracted program for families who have been involved with ADCS.

Our Approach

Building Resilient Families (BRF) is a voluntary program that is beneficial for those families who are in need of additional help and support. Our Family Support Workers can directly help families with needs and connect them with resources in their community.

BRF offers revolutionary solutions and we are proud to be one of the few outside agencies offering these services in our state. We at Amazing Grace Arizona Families are very passionate about giving families the help and support that they need to thrive through the BRF services they receive.

Available Services

Amazing Grace Arizona Families offers support through our simple, 3 step process:

Assessment: A member of our caring team will do an in-home family assessment to identify the family’s basic needs, concerns and determine what resources and training are needed, both as a whole family and as individuals.

Resources: We connect families with available resources and services that will set them up for success. These may include things  such resources for as food, clothing, transportation, and health care assistance.

Training: We offer each family member beneficial training and we can refer families to professional counseling services they may require. Our staff uses the evidence based parenting curriculum, Nurturing Parenting Program, which targets all families at risk for abuse and neglect with children birth to 18 years. We use this program to teach positive nurturing behavior skills as an alternative to abusive and neglecting parenting and child-rearing practices. One of the long term goals is to prevent recidivism in families who are receiving Social Services.
